Cast & Crew is a creative studio previously based in Marfa, Texas. Conceived in September of 2011, I, Co-founder Jøna Maaryn, a desert dweller with a knack for photography and design, joined forces with Cody Barber to create Cast + Crew. For the past 3 years, Cody, I, and Cast + Crew thrived in the magical city of Marfa, TX, where we were graced with the most lovely of tourists, regular visitors, friends and family from all over the world. A huge thanks to all of our loyal friends, followers and customers we gained from our time there.
Sometimes the course of life unexpectedly changes. Treasures are lost and treasures are found. Those divides reshape us as stronger humans and stronger business owners. I, Jøna, current owner of Cast + Crew, now reside and work from my studio and workshop in the beautiful city and urban laboratory of Arcosanti, AZ. In my daily encounters with culture, architecture, construction, fabrication, media, art and entertainment - I am shaped. I find pleasure in recording the growth and development of this shape that is my style, in hopes that my creations and collaborations will venture out of my studio and in to the hands of other like-minded creatives.
Cast + Crew is currently transitioning it's entire product line. Please stay tuned for all new items in the Spring of 2019. Also in the works is a brand new storefront located in the enchanted desert town of Joshua Tree, CA. But for now please enjoy our modern take on the classic hoop chair and iconic lucky horseshoe.
Cast & Crew was conceived on September 3, 2011 and began sales on October 26, 2011.
